Düden Waterfall guide EN

Which one should you go to?

Four waterfalls get recommended for Antalya and they are not alternatives to each other. They are different lengths of day.

It depends how much of the day you have.

Half a morning in the city: the lower Düden falls. Wanting to walk behind water: the upper Düden falls. Wanting a wooded walk: Kurşunlu. Already staying near Side: Manavgat. These are not four versions of the same trip.

The four, plainly

Distances are approximate and from map measurement, not driven and timed. Prices are marked as ticketed or free, without figures: we could not verify a 2026 price for any of the ticketed sites from a source that cites one. That is set out on the entrance fee page.

The mistake nearly everyone makes

Treating "the Düden waterfall" as one place. It is two, on the same river, 12 km apart, and they are not similar. One is a cliff over the sea in the city. The other is a gorge inland with a cave behind the water.

Guides and tour listings blur them constantly, which is how people end up at a clifftop park expecting to walk behind a waterfall. If you only do one, decide which of those two things you actually want.

Both Düden falls are covered properly here: lower and upper. Kurşunlu and Manavgat are outside what this site covers in depth, and we would rather say that than write thin pages about them.

How this page was decided

Honestly: this one is judgment, not measurement. The other planning pages on this site were written because search data showed people asking and no page answering. For "which Antalya waterfall" we did not find a clean signal in the data we hold, only a noisy one.

We wrote it anyway because the decision is real and nothing on this site was helping with it. But it is worth being clear which pages came from measurement and which came from a view, and this is the second kind.
