Lower Düden is the waterfall that drops into the sea. Its public viewing park on the Çağlayan–Lara coast is free to visit; the cave is at the separate Upper Düden location. A sea-level view requires a boat trip that includes Lower Düden on its route.
Where Lower Duden meets the sea
Use “Aşağı Düden Şelalesi, Çağlayan, Antalya” as your map destination. Karpuzkaldıran and Düden Park are also associated with this coastal stop. The Ministry describes the river dropping over a travertine edge of approximately 40 metres into the Mediterranean. It is separate from the inland cave in Kepez.
Free park access and separate services
The public viewing park is free. Boat trips, transfers, refreshments and parking where applicable have their own terms and charges; you do not need to buy a tour to visit the park. The Antalyakart turnstile-payment announcement concerns Upper Düden and does not establish an admission charge for Lower Düden’s park. Keep the two sites’ entry arrangements separate.
Time for the viewpoints and coastal walk
Allow around 45–90 minutes for the viewpoints and a short coastal walk, excluding transport. Photographs, a meal and a longer walk can take more time. View the falls from behind the barriers; do not plan around an assumed park path down to the base. The view from the sea is a separate experience from the walk along the coast.
Light, heat and access
The exposed coast does not have shade everywhere. Morning or late afternoon may be more comfortable on hot days; bring water and sun protection. Sunset is not behind the waterfall from every viewpoint. Uninterrupted night access and lighting have not been verified for every section, so use daylight as a starting point and follow local barriers.
Getting there and choosing a boat trip
Check your arrival stop in Antalyakart’s current routes and stops search. Lara and Kundu cover large hotel areas, so do not assume the park is walkable from every hotel. For a boat trip, look for Lower Düden by name, the departure harbour and the return time. Wind and sea conditions may change the route; ask where any separate swimming stop takes place.

No. You can see the falls from the coastal viewing park. For a sea-level view, choose a separate boat trip whose itinerary explicitly includes Lower Düden.
