It depends where you are staying, not where you landed.
Lara is close to the lower falls. Antalya centre reaches both by city bus. Belek and beyond turn this into a half or full day out.
Distance from each resort area
| Staying in | To Lower | To Upper | Realistic plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lara | ~2 km | ~14 km | closest base to the Lower falls |
| Antalya centre | ~8 km | ~12 km | both reachable by city bus |
| Kundu | ~10 km | ~20 km | hotel strip east of Lara |
| Belek | ~35 km | ~45 km | half day trip |
| Side | ~65 km | ~75 km | full day, consider combining |
| Alanya | ~125 km | ~135 km | long day, tour usually better |
Distances are road distances measured from the centre of each resort area. They are indicative, not survey grade.
By taxi
Published figures give the airport to city centre run at roughly 690 TL and the city centre to the falls at around 376 TL. There is no published figure for the airport to the falls directly, which is the number people actually search for.
Two practical notes. Agree the fare or insist on the meter before you set off. And if you are going to the upper falls, ask the driver to wait rather than trying to find a taxi back from the park entrance.

By city bus
What we can say: both falls are on the city network from central Antalya, and there is no single bus that connects the upper and lower falls to each other. If you want to see both in a day you will change buses or take a taxi between them.
By hire car
Both sites are signposted from the main roads as Düden. The upper falls have a car park at the entrance. For the lower falls you park on the clifftop near the viewing area.
Doing both in one day
They are about twelve kilometres apart and the road between them runs through the city, so allow half an hour each way plus your time at each site. A realistic day looks like this:
| Time | Where |
|---|---|
| 09:00 | Upper falls, park and cave path |
| 10:30 | Transfer across the city |
| 11:15 | Lower falls clifftop park |
| 12:00 | Boat trip, if you booked one |
Going early matters in summer. The park has shade but the walk in does not, and the light on the water is better before the middle of the day.
Is a tour cheaper than doing this yourself?
