A park you walk into, with a cave behind the falls.
About 12 km north east of Antalya centre. Ticketed. The water drops sharply in high summer, which matters more here than at the lower falls.

What it actually is
The Düden river surfaces here after running underground, and drops into a basin at the head of the gorge. Around it there is a laid out park: paved paths, planted beds, benches, a tea garden. It is a municipal park with a waterfall in it, not a wilderness.
The part people remember is the cave. A path cuts in behind the falling water, so you stand in the dark and look out through a moving curtain. That is the picture almost everyone takes here.

Getting in
There are turnstiles at the entrance, so this is a ticketed site. What the ticket costs in 2026 we could not verify: guides that rank on the first page quote five, ten, fifteen and a hundred lira, and none of them cite anything. We have written to the site management.

Getting there
It is inland, north east of the city, and it is not walkable from the beach hotels. From Antalya centre it is a short drive or a city bus. From Lara it is around 14 km, so further than the lower falls even though Lara feels closer to everything.
