Close to Antalya, go yourself. Further out, take the tour.
From Lara or the city centre the trip is short and simple. From Belek, Side or Alanya you are looking at hours in a car, and that is what a tour is actually selling you.
What each option costs
Figures below are what operators and fare guides published in August 2026. We do not sell tours and take no commission, so these are observations, not offers.

What a tour actually includes
Read the listing carefully, because the products are not the same thing:
- Boat trip only. About an hour, from Kaleiçi harbour or the Kundu jetty, passing under the lower falls.
- Full day boat. Around five hours, usually with two swimming stops.
- City tour combination. Cable car, old town and the waterfall together, mostly by coach.
- Pirate boat. Foam party, aimed at families with young children. Different day out entirely.
Doing it yourself, honestly
It is not hard, and it is cheaper. The friction is in three places:
- Bus routes. Published route numbers contradict each other, so you are relying on a mapping app or the hotel desk. More on this.
- Getting back. Taxis wait at the upper falls entrance in season, but not reliably out of it. Ask your driver to wait.
- The two sites are not connected. No single bus links upper and lower. Seeing both means a taxi hop across the city.
Combining with other waterfalls
Tours often bundle Düden with Kurşunlu, and sometimes with Manavgat. The geography decides whether that is sensible:
